Lake Washington Largemouth Bass Rating:

Lake Washington Largemouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- Go to the southern part of the lake where the St John River comes into it. Anchor off the mouth about 75 - 100 yards. There is a shell bed in this area which produces some nice Bass. Carolina Rig with a trick worm works well.

Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Largemouth bass fishing is going to be slow with the water temperature at 51 degrees. If you have a chance to get out on the water, you are going to have to fish deep and slow. Jig fishing and Plastic baits may be your best bet this time of year for largemouth bass. You may also try fishing some sinking jerk baits.
Lake Washington Smallmouth Bass Rating:
3.5
Lake Washington Smallmouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
Smallmouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
With Lake Washington at 51 degree water temperature this is a great time to get out on the water and try hitting some deeper primary and secondary points. Smallmouth bass will be feeding at this water temperature but will be much harder to catch. On Sunny warm afternoons its a great time to throw a crank bait, jigs or slow roll a spinnerbait at 5-10 foot on sunny points and drops off of sunny flats. Smallmouth Bass will move into warm water on warm sunny days.
Lake Washington Crappie Rating:
4
Lake Washington Crappie Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- Crappie bite has been a little bit slow. Averaging 4-8 fish each morning. Almost any color crappie jig is working. I have had the best bite when tipping the jig with a minnow. 8 feet seems to the depth. Also hooked into several catfish. Some of them are up to 5 and 6 pounds.
Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Crappie should be getting ready to spawn. Stay out in deeper water and look for schools. Schooling shad will be harder to find with this water temperature so when you find it, stay on it. Crappie schools will be breaking up quite a bit getting ready for the spawn. Also try fishing shallower with small crank baits and spinners on the warm banks with direct sunlight. This is a great time to be on the water.
Lake Washington Catfish Rating:
4.5
Lake Washington Catfish Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- Caught many catfish while crappie fishing. Trolling at very low speeds with crappie jig. Many catfish have been 5 and 6 pounds, and they have been pretty aggressive and put up a great fight. Have been catching 3 or 4 each morning.
Catfish Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
The catfish family comprises of blue catfish, flathead catfish and channel catfish. Since catfish are warm water fish, they arenít going to be very active in this water temperature. They will still be feeding, but catfish will only be found very deep and feeding very slowly. Your best bet is give some of the more active fish species in your lake a shot until the cats are active again.
Lake Washington Spotted Bass Rating:
3.5
Lake Washington Spotted Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
Spotted Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Spotted bass fishing is going to be slow with the water temperature down this low. It's time to fish deep and slow. Try some deep primary points, drop offs, and old river channels with rocks. Jigs, plastics and deep jerk baits will be your best bet to boat a Spotted.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
