- Troll it low for big Browns! For shore fisherman the morning from 6:30am to about 9am, depending on water temp and time of year, will yield good results. For day and afternoon, move it out to deeper water where the trout have hunkered down during the heat of the day. 6pm to 9pm they'll move back to the shallows. The northwest side above Alpine Jct on HWY 26 is great!

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

New Moon fishing can be at its best. The gravitational pull on the earth is at its peak when the moon and sun are rising and setting at the same time of day. This combination can generate extraordinary fishing opportunities especially if combined with perfect weather variances. The new moon may have the fish extremely aggressive and actively hunting for food. Try fishing a little faster today and with several different baits and techniques. When fish are more aggressive, its always fun to fish a little more aggressive. Watch the peak fishing times and make sure you are on the water during that part of the day to take full advantage of today?s solar/lunar peaks. Have a great day!
