Love the lake, but don\'t have a boat. Anyone know where to fish off shore or a pier. We\'re new to the area. Thanks, my eight-year-old wants to catch a fish so bad he can\'t stand it. I know they\'re out there, just not sure how to get to them without a boat. Thanks.

Lake Maxinkuckee Walleye Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- Walleye hit well off of steep drop offs. There is a weed bed or some kind of sand
bar in middle of north end where it gets pretty shallow fast. Trolled over
shallow and swam lure into the deeper drop off and got 4 walleye during AM hours.
Used small musky killer spinning baits with medium sized spoon.

- The best time to catch White Bass is when the water is between 40-60 degrees and they like to be in constantly moving water but I have also caught some on calm water also.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
