I don't know where this web-site gets it's information regarding walleyes in lake adjer as i have fished that lake and talked with the locals, and have yet to get any possitive response to walleyes being in that lake. Most people in that area think that muskillunge and walleye are the same fish, and there are muskies in that lake, Please get your facts straight before others waste thier time looking for them.
Species: Crappie

"Gotta say, they were pretty close on the water temperature here. Bass were active, couldn't get on any crappie though. Saw a dude pull out a 38 1/2"" muskie. Beautiful fish!! Rained all day long, good thing for Frogg Toggs....."

Lake Adger Largemouth Bass Tips: [ Add Tip ]
- On Friday, 8/17/12, the water was down about 2 feet. This made fishing difficult and the only thing I got a bite on was a crankbait, cranking it very slow. It would be helpful if there was some posting of the water level if that is possible.

Lake Adger Crappie Tips: [ Add Tip ]
Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
Crappie fishing is sometimes at its best with the water temperature down this low. Crappie will be in large schools and follow the large shad schools around in extremely deep water. Find the deepest parts of your lake in old river channels and scan your graph for schooling shad. When you find the school, drop your plastics or live bait down to the bottom of the shad and get ready. Many crappie fishermen will be catching awesome numbers and size of fish this time of year. If you are brave enough to get out on the water this time when the water temperature is this cold, it can really pay off. Be careful out there, remember to boat safely. Never take any chances at these temperatures.

Catfish Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
The catfish family comprises of blue catfish, flathead catfish and channel catfish. Since catfish are warm water fish, they arenít going to be very active in this water temperature. They will still be feeding, but catfish will only be found very deep and feeding very slowly. Your best bet is give some of the more active fish species in your lake a shot until the cats are active again.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

The crescent moon will have better gravitational pull than a gibbous or half moon. However the affects of the moons gravitational will be decreased since the sun and moon aren't pulling in conjunction with one another. It's time to pay close attention to the other fishing factors in the weather to make the best decision for hitting the water.
