Largemouth Bass Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
With Delaware Lake at 47 degree water temperature this is a great time to get out on the water and try hitting some deeper primary and secondary points. Largemouth bass will be feeding at this water temperature but will be much harder to catch. On Sunny warm afternoons its a great time to throw a crank bait, jigs or slow roll a spinnerbait at 5-10 foot on sunny points and drops off of sunny flats. Largemouth Bass will move into warm water on warm sunny days.

Delaware Lake Crappie Tips: [ Add Tip ]
Crappie Tips for Current Conditions (automated):
With the Water Temperature at 47 Prime Crappie fishing is in full swing. Crappies should be migrating to their spawning areas now. They?ll either be up in the final spawning area now or at tributary entrances. Concentrate around 15 feet of water. Fish Primary points at the mouth of the creek arms. Fish Targets at this point instead of focusing on bait fish. Fish trees, shrubs, vegetation, etc. Fishing correctly this time of year will get you snagged quite a bit since you need to focus on making and keeping contact with the cover.

Current Lunar Fishing Tip:

New Moon fishing can be at its best. The gravitational pull on the earth is at its peak when the moon and sun are rising and setting at the same time of day. This combination can generate extraordinary fishing opportunities especially if combined with perfect weather variances. The new moon may have the fish extremely aggressive and actively hunting for food. Try fishing a little faster today and with several different baits and techniques. When fish are more aggressive, its always fun to fish a little more aggressive. Watch the peak fishing times and make sure you are on the water during that part of the day to take full advantage of today?s solar/lunar peaks. Have a great day!
