Horrible. Park doesnt take care of the lake. Can only see down in wAter about 3 inches and the entire thing is infested with weeds and reeds. I dont doubt there are fish in it, but good luck trying to even cast. Check up on it later to see if they trimmed the reeds and opened up an area to fish.

Fished the banks at Cherry lake on 7/27/16 to 7/30/16 and didn't get so much as a nibble using several power baits and hachery trout nuggets. Didn't see many people fishing so I chalked it up to the fish being deeper because of water temp.

Packed full of brook trout. Easy catch with a garden worm or mini crawler hanging from a casting bubble. Spinners, such as Rooster tails and Mepps work really well too.

Spent two days fishing, caught 1 BlueGill. Story is they the company that was stocking the lake went out of business due to drought. I was fishing from shore. Another gentleman fishing from boat before sunrise did not have one bite. Lake level is full but fishing is dead.
