Had one pole setup with a bobber and no slip shot, 12" lead from bobber to hook. Other pole, had slip shot and I bottom bounced. Every species was biting every where until the cats came out. After starting the season 3-12-2016, we have caught 28 fish off our dock with live bait. This includes large mouth bass, pike, crappie and cat fish. Most days are slow but with the temps all over map, it has been pretty good fishing. Our largest were two of the pike, one was 26" and the other was a 27" and a large mouth bass at 17 1/2" weighing in at 2 lbs.
